For example, people have moved across into finance from engineering; from maintenance into management; and from administration into IT. Others have extended the breadth of their technical knowledge to cover a range of skills, so that they can work across multiple roles or become a Project Manager.

We are proud of our unparalleled, comprehensive training programme. Because we are not a large, faceless corporation, there is no chance of anyone being lost in the system, or overlooked, as happens in some organisations.
In fact, BGIS has the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of a family company, in which everyone is on first name terms and knows that their contribution is valued and integral to our success. There is no hierarchy to restrict anyone communicating directly with any of their colleagues about any matter, even at Director level.
We do not only train our own staff. When contracts are won and customer personnel join our team, we ensure that they are retrained the BGIS way – we don’t just change their T-shirt!
We are transparent about our training processes and our customers enjoy visibility of our training plans through our Opti-MIS system and our induction activity. Customers’ staff members are also able to attend our training courses.
